Something New Is Coming!

Keith Rowe

From Keith

“The heat from the furnace creates a pressure cooker from where I ply my ideas. I’m driven by the infinite array of combinations in form and colour of nature. Within my pieces I am attempting to show an idea/ image from my mind e.g. dew reflecting sunlight in the bush on an early morning spring walk. The colour and natural forms are around me, it is my choice as to the ones I use. Each day is new, so too is my vision and for this I am most grateful.”

“The driving force that keeps me making glass is the challenge to expand my personal aesthetic judgments and creative skills. As each day passes I am surprised at what I learn. Inspiration is a two-fold process: one of the external (where I live and my friends, etc) the other is an internal desire to see a balance between the colours and the forms I work with!”
